Pot full o punkins!

My latest and greatest fall project, which I'm in love with!!! I have wanted to make this for years but thought I would have to spend a lot. But as luck would have it everything was 50% off & I already had the flower pot!! So total cost is $30!! Yay!!
I just hot glued the pumpkins together....really well (since they are an outside project I'm sure the weather could rip them apart). I took the stem off the middle pumpkin and then glued the garland around each pumpkin, making sure the garland was really snug.
I used yellow leaves for the bottom because I thought it would be a good contrast with my flower pot. I just kinda threw together some hooks for the yellow garland so they wouldn't blow away using floral wire and put hooks all the way around the garland into the dirt that was already in the pot....they are nice & snug.
Once I was ready to put my tower of pumpkins in the pot I put two dowels in the bottom pumpkin and hot glued those in and staked it into the dirt. I made sure they were pretty long so the wind wouldn't take them away.

Here is some garland I threw together as well, I didn't take pictures of the process, I just bought 3 twig garland and a few pumpkin, corn & fall grass fillers, I used some garland I already had and hot glued it all together. I love that it is heavier and thicker than just leave garland and looking at craft stores something like this would be at least $60....how much was mine you ask? $18. I love myself a bargain!!
I got together with a girlfriend that wants to start making some fall & Halloween decor, so I can't wait to share what we come up with!!! Having two minds is always better than 1!!
